EDITNSHIP

Terms of service

Updated 1 November 2026

EditnShip is video-editing software supplied by RH Fardin, the operator of the EditnShip brand. Contact: [email protected].

1. What these terms cover

These terms describe use of EditnShip and the offers listed on our pricing page. The offer and terms shown when you purchase govern that purchase. This page does not reduce rights attached to an existing license or rights that applicable law protects.

The AI-credit subscriptions are currently a planned offer, not open for live purchase. No subscription starts merely because you visit our website or request a Mac download.

2. Mac license and subscriptions are separate

The Mac offer is a $29 one-time software license after a 14-day trial, with regular updates included. It has no recurring license charge and does not include a recurring AI-credit allowance. Your own AI-provider usage is billed separately by that provider. Existing Mac licenses are not converted into subscriptions.

When available, subscriptions will provide the same features across Starter, Pro and Advanced, with different included AI-credit quantities. Their monthly prices are $49, $99 and $149. Annual prices are $411.60, $831.60 and $1,251.60, charged once per year. Hardware, operating-system requirements and connected-platform permissions still apply.

3. Trials and AI credits

The planned subscription trial is seven days with ten credits, once per account. A completed Shipmate editing request that changes a document costs one credit. Internal model calls are not separate edits. No-op, read-only and wholly failed requests release their credit hold. An edit already applied before a later failure still counts.

Monthly paid periods include 100, 200 or 500 credits. Annual paid periods include 1,200, 2,400 or 6,000 credits upfront. Credits expire with their billing period, do not roll over, have no cash value and are not transferable. Local or manual editing does not itself consume AI editing credits. The separate Mac trial and license retain their own offer terms.

4. Payments and renewal

For purchases made through Paddle, Paddle is the merchant of record and payment reseller; RH Fardin supplies the software and product support. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to that payment transaction alongside these product terms.

Prices are in USD. The checkout will show the billing period, applicable taxes and final total before you agree to pay. Subscriptions renew for the selected monthly or yearly period until canceled. For a trial that converts to a paid plan, cancel before the trial ends to avoid its first charge. Any material price change will be disclosed and consent requested where required by law.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Use the management link in your Paddle receipt or visit Paddle support to stop renewal. A normal paid cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, with no further renewal charge. Canceling an AI-credit subscription does not cancel a separately purchased Mac license.

Read the refund and cancellation policy for the existing Mac refund promise, Paddle's subscription refund process and your protected legal rights. If a payment fails, paid subscription services may be restricted; your separately held Mac-license rights and saved projects are not converted into a new charge.

6. Your account and content

Keep your account credentials private and provide accurate purchase details. You keep your rights to your original projects and content. You give us the permission needed to provide requested storage, sync, AI processing and publishing. You are responsible for permission to use, upload and publish your media.

Do not use EditnShip for unlawful activity, infringement, fraud, unauthorized account access, malicious software or attacks on the service. We may restrict abusive use. Where possible and legally appropriate, we will explain a restriction and provide a support contact.

7. AI and connected services

Review AI edits, captions, generated material and metadata before publishing. Output can be inaccurate or unsuitable. Connected AI providers and publishing platforms have their own terms and permissions. A subscription does not override those services' rules or guarantee that a third party will accept your content.

Content and account-data handling are explained in our privacy policy. Keep your own copies of important work. Service interruptions and third-party changes can occur; support is available at [email protected].

8. Updates and legal rights

We identify material revisions with an updated date and provide notice or obtain consent where applicable law requires. Changes do not retrospectively remove an existing purchase promise or mandatory consumer protection. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
